‘Ow do you sound?

Since studying accents and dialects at English A-level I have developed a keen interest in different accents in the UK, sociolects and dialects. My boyfriend (a Mackem) made an excellent case study for my analytical transcript assignment in my first year at university. His strong northern dialect made an interesting analysis with distinct differences in his use of grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation.
